A new era in the land of ramble

Well, I finally caved and installed some weblog software. And boy, picking the right one wasn't easy. I picked b2evolution after trying out three or four software packages. It's mySQL and PHP based, so I found it to be quite easy to install and use. And as for customization, it fits right in with the rest of my site.

I tried Movable Type, but found it to be cumbersome and confusing. The way it renders everything into static HTML files and is based entirely on CGI scripts made it tough to use, in my opinion. So b2evolution it is.

The upside to all of this is that you can now comment and participate on my web site. And if you're wondering where all of my old entries went, they're tucked away under "Older Archives" to the right.
