Going to the Beach - in January
01/31/12 07:39 , Categories: random ramble It was 50 degrees today, so I decided to get outside and hunt for a geocache south of Bismarck entitled "Going to the Beach." Unfortunately, I didn't find it.
Along the way, I shot some video of my cache hunt using my phone. Check it out--I've never seen a pickup encased in ice like that before! I'm glad it's not mine.
This video gave me a chance to try out Adobe Premiere Elements on my new laptop. It works much better than it did on the old, thankfully.

Who's your "Person of the Year?"
01/13/12 18:39 , Categories: life with god Time Magazine chose "The Protester" as their "Person of the Year" for 2011. The National Catholic Reporter named Sr. Elizabeth Johnson, a theologian whose book was criticized by the US Bishops, as their "Person of the Year" for 2011. I like Fr. Robert Barron's idea much better. My "Person of the Year" for 2011 is "The Christian Martyr." Watch Fr. Barron, excellent as usual:
