Today seemed fast. I climbed out of my sleeping bag at 4:00 A.M. and had breakfast. Around five, I took off. Justin was still asleep. I assumed he would catch me later in the day.

The entire day was great. There was no sunrise, as the horizon is never visible because of all the trees. But at least the weather was good. There was also a lot more to look at (other than trees) compared to the last two days. The building above, perhaps an old schoolhouse, caught my eye early in the ride.

Early on, I was with quite a large group of riders. After stopping to photograph some paper mills and hydroelectric dams near Biron and Wisconsin Rapids, I fell behind.

After a while, I was riding alone. It wasn't until closer to the end of the ride that I met other riders.

Tonight we're camping in the city of Adams-Friendship. Supposedly, Adams and Friendship are two separate cities. I'd never have known it. In any case, I found these cities to be quite nice. Who wouldn't like a city named Friendship?

A storm rolled through around 6:15. Justin & I took in a waterski show.
