Pensacola, FL, to Milton, FL
<< YESTERDAY INDEX TOMORROW >>

Day 7: Wednesday

Dst: 24.01 mi
Avg: 13.2 mph
Mx: 27.6 mph
Tm: 1:48:38

So the day began: Prayers, Mass, breakfast, and some lounging in the motel until 11:30 a.m. or so.  We had a short ride, 24 miles along the west shore of Escambia Bay to Pace and Milton.

The weather was great, the roads were scenic.  As I rode along the Pensacola Bluffs there were great views of the bay.  The homes there were ridiculously extravagant.

We ate lunch at a Dairy Queen, rode over the Escambia River, and were in Milton in no time.  We checked into the Regency Motel, walked around town, took naps, visited the local bikes shop (where Jesse picked up a new tire).  Eventually we went to Texas Roadhouse for supper.  Now, we’re just relaxing.

Tomorrow is already our last day of riding!
