A frosty, foggy commute
September 28th, 2004

The house was cool when my alarm sounded. I climbed out of bed and peeked out the window at a world covered in frost. Steam rose from the chimney next door. It was definitely cold.

I walked to the porch to retrieve my newspaper and noticed a heavy fog just starting to rise with the sun. Listening to the weather channel over my bowl of cereal, I learned it was a frigid 33 degrees.

Between the bright fall colors, leaf-littered bike paths, ever-cooler temps, and all-too-early sunsets, the arrival of fall is evident.

On my way out the door for my morning commute, I grabbed my camera and snapped the few photos above. Enjoy.
