CubicleDecember 6, 1998Procrastination yesterday was unbearable! I stared at the ceiling for probably half an hour, knowing well the tremendous amount of work that needed to be done. Despite the looming deadlines, I could not make myself pick up a pencil or sit at my desk. In the end, I wasted about 3/4 of the precious day. I can't stand myself in that mood. Today was much more lucrative. I arrived at the library ten minutes after they opened at 1:00, and I didn't take a break from my calculus until 5 for supper. Then it was back to the library for a couple more hours in my little, wooden cubicle. I think I should spend more time over there, totally isolated from all distractions. I think I am almost ready for the test tomorrow. Friday night, my roommate and I went over to a friend's room and watched Chasing Amy. I actually liked the movie, despite the numerous homosexuals and odd sexual discussions that made their appearance in the movie. It was a very strange movie, but O.K. nonetheless. After the movie was over, we ended up watching some of Howard Stern. That show is strange. Needless to say, I had my share of sex stories that night. ~ |
